Sreyas, an Educational Charitable Trust, the brainchild of T.R. Vijay Anand was started with the sole intention of providing free education to the needy people of India. Having Education as the top most priority Sreyas will also discharge any other public service whenever possible.

Motive behind Sreyas – Founder’s message

Everyday is a gift in our life and we are grateful to the Almighty for giving us a life which we are enjoying now and the question is what are we doing in return?
a:) Are we doing any social work ?
b:) Do we take part in the burden of the poor people ?
Most of the time, the answer is NO. We earn for our living, we live for our family, we save for our children. But still, we always think that we should do something to the poor and the needy but WHEN ? and HOW ? and i am glad to say that it is NOW !

a:) I earn and out of my earnings, I can always save some money and spend it for the poor.
b:) I can always motivate the younger generation that “Poverty is man made” and it can be erased
c:) I can always allocate my time however busy I am and can afford to spend a weekend with those old aged people who have been neglected
d:) I am hale and healthy and I know I will not die if I donate blood once in 4 months which infact is good for my health too.
e:) I buy dress for my birthday and other festivals and it wont be a loss if I donate my old dresses to my fellow friends in the slums in various parts of my city.
f:)  I read lot of books and after I have read, I donate it to the nearby library or trust for free.
g:) I am gifted with great friends and I can always talk about my trust and make them contribute to the society.
h:) ” Money is not life” and when I see a smile on my friend’s face after I donate something, I understand that.

Oh, now when I read the above points I am really amazed on what I can do and I beleive that YOU CAN DO MORE ….So, come on, lets Join Hands, lets March Forward, lets fight povery, lets provide Education – ‘the greatest of all riches’ to the needy and lets prove to the world that we are One Family – The Great Indian Family.
